The Department of Psychology sponsors a chapter of Psi Chi,
the National Honor Society in Psychology, affiliated with the American Psychological
Association. Membership is extended to psychology majors who have completed at
least three psychology courses, with a major G.P.A. above 3.25, and who are in
the upper one-third of their class. In the past, Psi Chi locally has arranged
speakers, field trips, movies, and other activities of psychological interest. There are usually special Psi Chi sessions at regional and national psychological conferences. For information about membership and activities, see Dr. Krantz, Faculty Advisor.
